Welcome to the 2011

May Classic 5k Corporate Challenge!

Corporate Competition to Help our Community’s Children

Since 1977, the Child Abuse Council has been helping children and strengthening families through prevention, education and treatment programs. To support this important cause, St. John Greek Orthodox Day School has organized a race to bring businesses and organizations together in the spirit of friendly competition to raise much needed funds for the children of our community.

The 8th Annual May Classic will be held on Saturday, May 7th at 7:30 a.m. The race begins and ends in Hyde Park Village and travels down Tampa’s beautiful Bayshore Blvd. This 5k race is held in conjunction with the City of Tampa.

Last year, more than 1,000 people participated in this event making it the 3rd largest 5k in the Tampa Bay area. This year, we are expecting to be bigger and better!

Participation is EASY! Employees, family members, and their friends sign up for either the 5k or Family Fun Run under the Company Team. Then, the day of the race, the top three largest teams will be acknowledged with unique awards.

Please contact Maria Lewis at (813) 673-46446 x2224 or mlewis@cachillsborough.com for more information.

Your company will make a difference in a child’s life by joining this Corporate Challenge. We hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely,
