FEES

• 5K: $25.00 pre-registration; $30.00 on race day
  1-Mile Family Fun Run: $10.00 pre-registration; $15.00 on race day
  Free to children under 5 years old

PACKET PICK-UP

• Packet pick-up from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, May 1st, at the St. John Greek Orthodox Kourmolis Community Center, 2418 Swann Avenue, Tampa. Race Day registration/packet pick-up begins at 6:00 a.m. in Hyde Park Village Circle.

START TIMES

• 5k: 7:30 a.m.; Fun Run: 7:40 a.m. May 2, 2009

COURSE INFORMATION

• The May Classic 5k will begin and end at the Hyde Park Village Circle. The 3.1 mile flat, out-and-back course will start at Rome Avenue, head south on scenic BAYSHORE BOULEVARD to Bay to Bay, and then back. Music will be played along the course. This race will be a chip timed run provided by Ipico Sports Timing.

POST-RACE PARTY

• The post-race party will feature music, prize drawings, fabulous food and beverages (water will be available on the course too). Each race participant will receive a T-shirt and goodie bag full of special items rom our sponsors.

UNIQUE AGE GROUP AND SCHOOL TEAM AWARDS

• $1,000 in CASH PRIZES AND AWARDS for the top 3 overall winners in the Men’s and Women’s categories. Awards will be given to the overall Men’s and Women’s Masters and the top 3 Age-Group winners (5-year age increments starting at 9 and under up to 75+) for both races. 

All 5k Race Applicants are Automatically Registered for the Grand Prize Drawing... Winner Must be Present to Claim Prize.
